Returning to the scene of the crime

The last time we walked and were in Viana, an old woman stole our groceries (see earlier post).  We returned to the same city, shop at the same market, but were able to leave with our groceries this time.   We walked around town looking for the old lady, or were unable to find her.
Today was a shorter day of walking with only 11 and a half miles. We were able to beat the oppressive heat and arrive by 10:30.  Is left this time to cook up some good old fashioned hamburgers and have a nice lunch followed by a long nap.
We continue to walk with Gosha and Arthur.  They are good company and they walk at our same speed. At this albergue,  we met a German couple who's walking with their for children ages 10, 7, 5 & 2, but with the help of two nannies.   Julie and Marian had fun playing with their kids and learning a little German.
We continue to be thankful for all our blessings every day and being able to walk on this pilgrimage.  We're hoping that the heat will subside, but it is forecast for a hundred four degrees tomorrow. We will need to wake up by 4 a.m. In order to beat the heat and arrive safely.
You're really into the swing of things now and focused on our pilgrimage.
